HICKSVILLE, Ohio—Nemco Food Equipment announces the hiring of Luke Moffatt as its Sales Manager, Retail, effectively launching a new position conceived to focus more acutely on the convenience-store segment.
Moffatt will lead the execution of sales strategies designed to expand Nemco’s knowledge of the c-store market and deepen its working relationships with operators to solve their unique foodservice challenges and develop new opportunities.
Given the c-store industry’s bullish growth of in-store sales—16 consecutive record years according to NACS (National Association of Convenience Stores)—with nearly a quarter of those sales now generated by foodservice, Nemco was deliberate in its process of filling this new, critical role.

Moffatt, who will also support sales in Nemco’s new international sourcing division, Global Solutions, comes to Nemco with a unique professional background that includes earning an MBA in international business from Britain’s University of Salford and five years of world travel as a professional ice hockey player in Europe.
