Senior Mechanical Engineer – Phoenix Operations
Nemco is looking for a degreed ME with 10+ years’ experience in the development and manufacture of restaurant or residential appliance products. Responsibilities include the design, testing, and deployment of new products. Other responsibilities include evaluating existing products for improvements and cost reduction opportunities, design/construction of lab testing systems, as well as researching and applying new technologies. Strong CAD (Solid Works) experience, excellent project management skills, critical thinking, and planned experimentation abilities are required to excel in this role. Experience with Lean, Set-Based Design and Concurrent Development a plus.
Senior Electrical Engineer – Phoenix Operations
Nemco is looking for a degreed EE to staff our growing Phoenix, AZ operations. Ten + years’ experience in the development and manufacture of products. Knowledge of commercial foodservice equipment is preferred. This senior level position will lead the development of new technology applications for restaurant equipment, as well as design, test, and deploy new products. Necessary qualifications include software experience (C, C++, Assembly, Java, etc.), excellent project management skills, and the ability to solve problems. Experience in Lean, Set-Based Design and Concurrent Development a plus.
Project Mechanical Engineer – available position in Hicksville, OH
Nemco is looking for a degreed Project ME with 5+ years’ experience in the development and manufacture of restaurant or residential appliance products. The successful candidate will have experience in design and fabrication of sheet metal, cast and injection and molded parts, as well as experience working end to end in a hands on product development environment. Strong CAD (Solid Works) and excellent project management skill are required. Experience with Six Sigma desired.
Invoicing and Filing Clerk ($13 plus per/hr, depending on experience; 8 am – 5 pm)
Nemco Food Equipment has an entry level opening in the accounting department. This primary duties of this position are processing the daily shipments and invoicing of our customers. In addition, this position serves as 2nd back up on a multi-line phone system, picks up and distributes the daily mail, process freight claims, audit/verify sales commission, as well as process the weekly office supply order. The successful candidate must possess knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
1st Shift Shipping Specialist ($12.00 to $15.00 per/hr; estimated 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, but may vary. No evenings)
This role provides support in the shipping department and will perform a wide variety of tasks and duties. Some responsibilities include receiving, storage, handling, and shipping materials/finished product to and from customers. This position also aids with inventory cycle counts and recordkeeping. Additional duties include the determination of the method of shipment and utilization of shipping schedules. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high degree of accuracy is essential to success.
1st Shift Spot Welder ($12.00 to $15.00 per/hr; 7 am - 3:30 pm)
Responsibilities include spot welding and C/D stud various small gage metals together using jigs and templates per our established processing methods, as well as recording finished parts into the inventory system. Ability to read blue prints and use calipers is a plus. Pride in quality of work is a must.
3rd Shift Haas Operator ($13.00 to $19.00 per/hr plus $.50 shift premium; 11 pm – 7 am)
Primary responsibilities include the set up and operation of Haas vertical machines and CNC lathes, along with performing programing tasks. The successful candidate must have a high degree of skill and broad knowledge with CNC tool operations and procedures. Continuous Improvement and Team Leading experience a plus. Pride in quality of work is a must.
3rd Shift Burnishing Operator ($12.00 to $15.00 per/hr plus $.50 shift premium; 11 pm – 7 am)
The primary responsibilities of the successful Burnishing Operator will be to polish, sandblast, and wash casting parts, as well as record parts into the inventory system. Essential skills include the ability to follow directions, precision accuracy, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, the willingness to work overtime. Pride in quality of work is a must.
